As soon as I saw this episode I knew I would be in for a hilarious ride of a show. Between the drug dealing and the failed marriage, there was never a dull moment.
This show is absolutely amazing. I binged watched all four seasons in a week and I still havent had enough. The story line is genius and the characters are fantastic and unique. Ruby Rose is my favorite . Can we say gorgeous ?

I think Piper is a great character. I've thoroughly enjoyed her character from the very start of Season 1. Props to the show producers for creating such a entertaining show.
I think it sets up the characters perfectly, showing their relatability from the get go. Piper, while slightly annoying, is well acted and seems like a real novice when it comes to prison life and her naivety shows as she is ingratiated into her new life. Seems like Jenji Kohan is on to another winner, I was hooked from the (brilliant) opening credits.

I was hooked right away with episode 1 of the Orange Is The New Black series, even subscribed to netflix after my free trial just because of this episode. When she is introduced to some of the cell mates she is going to jail with, this episode just gets more entertaining. Very comedic episode. I like the bringing in the woman from That 70's Show. Groovy!
Normally when it comes to a show, it takes a while for me to become hooked, but OITNB did that just fine. I just love Piper's character coping with getting sent to jail and then the struggle that her best friend Polly has to go through knowing her best friend wouldn't be there for her baby shower. The rest of the episode is darkly funny as she's introduced to the rest of the jail birds she's going to be with!
