As a childhood DC fan, this series definitely lived up to my expectations and even surpassed them. Before you watch this, I would advise you to have at least a basic understanding about Flash (check out his Wiki page) as it will help you understand it more and enhance your enjoyment.

When I first watched this episode I was honestly really confused. There was so much plot to take in at first. If you are considering watching this show be prepared to pay attention. After this episode, it takes off! Alternatively, you could just read the book(s).

This episode was great! However, not quite at the level of Breaking Bad. A great prequel that I reccommend all Breaking Bad viewers to watch. If you haven't watched Breaking Bad I would suggest you watch that first or there may be some things you don't understand.

Personally, I think that this is one of the best starts to a show so far. I love how they set the post-apocalyptic scenario but don't reveal too many characters at once. I find it a terrible shame that the show couldn't sustain the quality in later seasons.
