PLOT:
Rick is reunited with Lori and Carl but soon decides - along with some of the other survivors - to return to the rooftop and rescue Merle. Meanwhile, tensions run high between the other survivors at the camp.
The mounting tension in the series is really hitting all the right notes. The acting is brilliant (Rick, Darryl and Merle especially steal the show in this episode) and you genuinely feel the terror as you sit at the edge of your seat, just waiting for the next flash of red to hit the screen.
This was the episode which solidified Rick as the leader of the group. He showed true courage and compassion for someone who hadn't shown himself worthy of it.
This was the episode that I first laid eyes on my movie husband Norman Reedus (Daryl). He has been my favorite ever since. He was so angry in this episode. My favorite part was when he tried to attack rick for living Merle on the roof. The worst part was seeing him get upset when he saw merle had cut off his hand

This episode is really interesting. It has a twist to the story which got surprised me. It just keeps getting better, in a tv show-kind of way.
