Robb goes to war against the Lannisters. Jon finds himself struggling on deciding if his place is with Robb or the Night's Watch. Drogo has fallen ill from a fresh battle wound. Daenerys is desperate to save him.
Having watched all five seasons now, I've definitely noticed a lovely trend in this show. Regardless of the season, I'm always most excited about episode 9 because this is when I know that something incredible is going to happen! Ned dying caught me off guard. He was on the poster - I couldn't believe that George R.R. Martin would kill him off so soon! Such a great show!
I think it's a shame that the best actor in the cast has to go. But, he provided us with some great performances. His character is very good in this episode.

I can't believe eddard stark was killed!!! He was one of the best characters in the whole show. I can't stand king joffrey... he needs to go!
